• Backend Development & IoT Platform Customization: You will design and extend backend components such as rule engines, APIs, and system integrations and you will customize and further develop our IoT cloud platform based on ThingsBoard
• Cross-Team Collaboration : In smal SCRUM teams with creative freedom you’ll collaborate with our UI/UX designers and DevOps team to implement frontend features using Angular or React, including dashboards and device configuration interfaces.
• Implementation and Optimization: You will develop new features for device lifecycle and user management. Optimze data processing and real-time communication such as MQTT and WebSockets.
• Code Quality, Testing & Dokumentation: You will ensure high code quality by writing documentation, perform unit and integration tests, and actively participate in design and code reviews.
• Requirement Analysis: Together with application managers and other specialists, you will analayze technical requirements, evalute system architectures and create decision proposals within the organization.

• Backend Expertise 2-5 years of experience in backend development with Java or Kotlin (Spring Boot is a plus) and confident in using Python, Django, Docker and REST APIs, WebSockets, and MQTT.
• IoT Platform Experience: Experience with Thingsboard or similiar cloud IoT platforms (such as Azure IoT. AWS IoT) and solid understanding of device provisioning, telemetry and state modeling.
• Database handling Proficient in PostgreSQL, or TimescaleDB and understanding in handling large sensor data streams
• Devops and Tooling Familiar with DevOps methodology, Docker, authentication standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). Experience in AWS, ELB, ECS, S3 and EC2, and similar cloud technologies are required. We are using AWS to deploy our services.
