Hybrid - 3 days a week in office
Oakwell Hampton are looking for a Buyer to join our clients procurement team and play a key role in sourcing IT hardware and electronic accessories . In this position, you will be responsible for supplier management, price negotiations, and ensuring the availability of high-quality products to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle operational and strategic purchasing of IT hardware and accessories.
- Obtain and compare supplier offers, leading price and contract negotiations.
- Identify, select, and manage national and international suppliers.
- Monitor delivery timelines to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Maintain accurate master data and documentation in the ERP system.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to align procurement with business goals.
- Analyse the market for new products, pricing trends, and industry developments.
Your Profile
- A completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Purchasing , or a related field.
- Initial experience in procurement, ideally in the IT hardware or electronics sector .
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office .
- A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills , with a strong ability to work in a team.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
