The introduction of Charité's new hospital information system (HIS) is an exciting and highly complex project that plays a key role in the digital transformation of patient care. The new HIS will improve the quality of treatment and meet the demands of Charité staff for modern digital support for their work - in line with the Charité Strategy 2030. Job overview
- You model and maintain data structures to best support clinical and administrative requirements
- You ensure a smooth and reliable data flow by integrating data from different systems
- You design and optimize databases and data warehouse structures with a view to performance, scalability and reliability
- With a clear focus on data protection and governance guidelines, you ensure the security and compliance of all data processes
- You analyze existing processes, identify potential for optimization and implement targeted improvements in data management and the automation of data-driven processes
We are looking for
- You have completed a scientific master's or diploma degree in economics or natural sciences (STEM) or have several years of comparable professional experience
- Confident in handling complex data structures and processes, you identify optimization potential and develop effective solutions for improving data flows
- You are familiar with data integration and interface architecture, in particular with the standards in the medical environment
- Your analytical and solution-oriented approach enables you to find effective answers to clinical and administrative questions
- Experience in building data science-based analytical models allows you to support decision-making and improve workflows in healthcare, administration, research, and education
- You communicate confidently in German and English (at least B2 level in each case)

Job information
- Pay grade E13 TVöD VKA-K. The classification is based on qualifications, the respective experience level is calculated on the basis of the number of years worked. You can find the collective agreement here .
- The weekly working time is possible from 20 to 38.5 hours. Please let us know how many hours you would like to work.
- 30 days of vacation are standard with us
