DATA / MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER / OPS (m/f/d)

WIDELY VARIED – YOUR TASKS

• Design, build, and maintain the ML CI/CD pipeline and workflows that automate data collection, data analysis, experimentation, model training, model deployment, and monitoring in production
• Building, testing, and maintaining infrastructure and tools to facilitate consistent and automated development and release of AI software solutions
• Automating model training and release workflows and building services around ML inference and model deployment for runtime processing
• Data modeling to support the training of machine learning models
• Close collaboration with data engineers and product developers to scale model training
• Creating pipelines to continuously improve models deployed in production, helping to explore new data sources and model features
• Implementation of measures to improve the reliability and performance of the ML infrastructure
• Actively seek opportunities to improve ML pipeline development and operations processes
• Working in an agile, international environment

WELL POSITIONED – YOUR PROFILE

• B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
• More than 3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Engineer or in a similar role with a strong ML background
• Experience in creating, deploying, and maintaining ML models in production
• Experience with ML frameworks, Python tools for data science and MLOps tools such as TensorFlow, Apache Airflow, MLFlow and Kubeflow.
• Solid knowledge of programming with Python
• Experience with cloud-based data pipelines optimized for machine learning applications, AWS and/or GCP is a plus
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiar with workflow management platforms such as Airflow
• Familiar with best practices in the data engineering and MLOps community
• You enjoy working in an agile team, are willing to get involved, think "out of the box” and are keen to explore new topics
• Good knowledge of German and/or English completes your profile
