As a Engineer (f/m/x), you are responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.

Work includes:

• Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals

• Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions

• Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow

Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank.

Your key responsibilities

• Build/Manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for both digital and non-digital projects

• Work closely with development team and release managers to deploy components for multiple releases in multiple environments

• Work closely with operator team support and driving Infrastructure issues. Part of the MIM call in case of critical incidents

• Hands on experience building on premise, hybrid and/or cloud infrastructure; Especial managing and driving Infrastructure (PAAS Deutsche Bank, e.g.) related issues

• Develop and recommend appropriate solutions and services that meet client needs and provide value

Your skills and experiences

• Proactive personality coupled with strong technical/problem solving capabilities with an ability to quickly adapt to new environments/technologies and provide long term solutions

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Experience in developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on experience with Cloud tech (GCP, Docker Container orchestration such OpenShift, Kubernetes)

• Scripting language: Python, Groovy etc.
