Your tasks
We’re looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to help build and maintain the backbone of our platform. You’ll work across a mix of managed services and self-hosted infrastructure to ensure reliability, observability, and scalability of the systems that power KoRo’s e-commerce, integrations, and operations.
You will take ownership of infrastructure tooling and collaborate with engineers to support continuous delivery and system stability.

- Implement and manage centralised logging, monitoring and alerting systems.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with your team's engineers on topics such as environment parity, database performance and observability.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose resilient and maintainable solutions to infrastructure challenges.
- Manage user access, secrets and backups across environments.
- Maintain and improve our bare metal servers and managed infrastructure.
- Ensure secure and scalable infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform or similar).
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations (if applicable) and drive root cause resolutions.
Your profile
- 2–4 years' experience in DevOps, infrastructure or platform engineering.
- Solid hands-on experience of Linux server administration and networking concepts.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerised environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g. GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with AWS and other cloud providers.
- Experience of setting up and managing centralised logging and monitoring tools (e.g. DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana and Loki).
- Good knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and other web technologies.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and backups/replication.
- Fluent in English.
- Self-driven, pragmatic and good at communicating, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Nice to have:
- Ideally, you will have experience with Shopware or similar e-commerce systems
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform or Ansible).
- German is a plus.
