Milengo is currently looking for English>Dutch (Netherlands) junior freelance reviewer with a penchant for AI technologies to help us in content localization, in various domains and industries.

Tasks

• Review content generated by machine translation in Dutch, and post edit it, according to the specified guidelines.
• Collaborate with other linguists to implement new AI technologies in content localization.

Requirements

Must have:

• Interest in working with machine translation and large language models
• Flexibility/Versatility : support all workflows from the new product framework, open to testing new workflows and tools, and provide constructive feedback on AI workflows
• Reliability/Attention to detail : thoroughly reading and following guidelines for different workflows to ensure the right quality
• Linguistic expertise: please apply only if you are a native Dutch speaker.

Nice to have:

• CAT tools knowledge : general or specific CAT tool knowledge is a plus, but we don't expect linguists to know them,.
• MT experience : Prior knowledge about machine translation (MTPE) workflows is helpful but not a must. Openness to learn new technologies and workflows is more important.
• Proficiency in German is a plus.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short test to assess their linguistic skills. The test will take between 30 minutes to 1 hour and will be carried out either in memoQ CAT tool or Word document, depending on your preference. In your application please write a few sentences – no more than a paragraph – on why do you think you are right for this position and what you understand as being an AI linguist.

This is a freelance position and there is no interview step.
