Your area of responsibility

1. Design and development of circuit, schematic and PCB layouts using CAD tools
2. Collaborating with mechanical design engineers ensuring that the electrical requirements are taken into consideration
3. Creating electrical drawings for manufacturing and as needed
4. Ensure high level of integration for large volume production
5. Testing of electrical components/systems and layout validation with high-end simulation tools
6. Supporting technical documentation preparation for regulatory requirements
7. Supporting documentation creation for product release to production
8. Design boards with modern SoCs at chip level
9. Design and construction of test rigs as required
10. Interfacing with suppliers for component selection
11. Assembling prototypes
12. Work in close collaboration with embedded software and hardware development teams

It would be great if you have

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field
• University degree in electronic/electrical engineering or similar education (technician, dual education etc.)
• Significant professional experience with Altium designer or another EDA tool
• Basic knowledge of digital circuit design/principles
• Experience with the design of analog circuits
• Familiarity with populating a PCB and using lab equipment
• Empathy towards your colleagues with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to work with little oversight and independent decision-making
• Fluency in spoken and written English

It would be even better if you have

• Familiarity with the concepts of EMC and EMI
• Experience with HDI PCB Design
• Experience with cellular basebands and smartphone SoCs
• Experience with SI/PI Simulation or willingness to learn
• Experience with Keysight ADS
