For our neonatology department at Helios Klinikum Berlin-Buch (Level I), we are looking for a committed personality with heart, specialist knowledge, team spirit and a passion for modern, family-oriented medicine as a parental leave replacement from 01.02.2026 . With us, you can contribute your expertise as a neonatologist - or acquire a specialization in neonatology in an experienced team.

• Specialist care and support for premature and newborn babies in the level I perinatal center (births: 2700-3000/year, FG <1500g: 50-70/year, FG <1250g: 30-40/year)
• Collaboration on the neonatal intensive care unit, as well as collaboration on post-IC/HC and family wards or rooming-in units
• Close cooperation with pediatric surgery, neurosurgery and other specialist departments for comprehensive interdisciplinary care
• Support and advice for parents - e.g. breastfeeding management, parent-child proximity and family-oriented care
• Supervision and guidance of assistant doctors, as well as participation in training and further education
• Participation in on-call and emergency services to ensure 24/7 care

• Completed specialist qualification (m/f/d) in pediatrics and adolescent medicine (or equivalent) - with interest in or ideally started or completed specialization in neonatology
• Empathy, ability to work in a team and enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation
• Strong communication skills and respectful interaction with families and colleagues
• Proof of measles immunity (required by law)
