You’ll make an impact by
- You will be responsible for the preparation and execution of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of protection and automation devices manufactured at the Messgerätewerk Berlin (MWB).
- You will use automated software to parameterize protection and automation devices using Siemens software such as Digsi and Reydisp. Furthermore, you will document the performance of the functionalities and use integrated test systems (e.g. OMICRON) for test execution.
- In addition, you will organize and conduct factory acceptance tests for MWB products, including quality-oriented factory tours with customers to increase their confidence in our production systems.
- You will ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of the test results and complement automated documentation processes.
Your defining qualities
- Education: The basis of your success is a completed vocational training together with several years of professional experience in the field of protection devices and substation automation or a university degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience & Skills:
- You can demonstrate experience with customer applications of products from the field of Protection & Automation (PA), commissioning experience would be an advantage.
- In addition to being confident in using MS Office, you will have the ability to use provided documentation and information material and to familiarize yourself with PA user tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python or similar) and AI is an advantage.
- Ways of working:
- A strong willingness to learn and the ability to continuously familiarize yourself with Siemens PA through the documentation and information materials provided are crucial.
- You have a strong ability to integrate and work in a team while at the same time being assertive.
- Your way of working can be described as proactive as well as goal- and solution-oriented.
- Languages: Proficiency in German and English is a must; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
