Finance Operations Manager (f/m/d) - Part Time
Über diesen Job
Finperks is a Berlin-based FinTech company building a unified infrastructure for prepaid products, including gift cards, airtime, and eCash, accessible through a single API. Our platform helps businesses integrate and distribute prepaid products efficiently, reducing complexity in a traditionally fragmented value chain.
The company was founded by serial entrepreneurs who previously built and scaled Viafintech (Barzahlen) to over 100 employees and successfully exited the business in 2021 through a sale to the NYSE-listed Paysafe Group. This background provides Finperks with a stable foundation, clear strategic direction, and experienced leadership from day one.
As an early-stage company, Finperks offers an interesting and varied finance operations environment: clean processes to set up, growing transaction volumes, and close collaboration with founders, banks, and tax advisors. At the same time, the business is built with a long-term, sustainable mindset, prioritizing solid financial operations, transparency, and compliance over rapid but uncontrolled growth.
Finperks is a small, collaborative team based in Berlin-Charlottenburg. We value reliability, ownership, and pragmatic execution. For a Finance Operations professional, this means working in a well-managed startup environment with clear responsibilities, predictable workflows, and leadership that understands the importance of strong finance fundamentals.

As Finance Operations Manager (Part-Time), you will work closely with the CFO and ensure that Finperks’ day-to-day finance operations run smoothly, accurately, and reliably. Finance Operations Excellence
- Maintain well-structured and well-documented finance operations processes
- Continuously improve and automate operational workflows
- Collaborate closely with founders, finance leads, and external partners
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and transparency across all finance operations
Requirements
Must-haves:
- Relevant professional experience in finance operations, accounting, or bookkeeping (e.g. Finance Operations, Accounting, Payroll, or similar roles)
- Hands-on experience with invoicing, accounts payable, and payment processing
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
- Experience working with confidential payroll and HR-related data
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring operational tasks independently
- Comfortable working with standardized processes and following established workflows

- Familiarity with accounting and finance tools (e.g. DATEV, Lexoffice, SevDesk, or similar)
- Experience with process optimization or automation in finance operations
- Basic understanding of German accounting and payroll requirements
- Ability to work part-time in a structured and reliable schedule (e.g. fixed days or recurring cadence)
Profile-fit:
- You are detail-oriented, structured, and process-driven
- You value clean, transparent, and well-documented finance operations
- You work independently, reliably, and proactively
- You are comfortable operating behind the scenes and ensuring day-to-day finance operations run smoothly
- You take ownership of your tasks and consistently follow through
Benefits
- Work with experienced founders who have successfully built and exited FinTech companies, providing a stable setup and clear direction.
- Own well-defined finance operations processes with clean interfaces to the CFO, tax advisors, and external partners.
- Work directly with the CFO and gain insight into how strong finance operations support the wider business.
- A part-time role with flexibility and predictable workflows, designed to fit alongside other commitments.
