Shape the Future of Agentic AI in Insurance

We’re hiring a Founder’s Associate Intern – AI Ops & Finance (m/f/d) to join inca’s COO/CFO team for 3–6 months and help run the machine room of an AI-native insurance services company.

You’ll sit at the intersection of operations, finance, and client delivery — building the backbone of a company that’s redefining how insurers handle claims. This is not a “watch and learn” internship.

You’ll ship work that matters: designing and executing core processes, supporting enterprise pilots, and helping scale our AI-driven claims engine. Expect speed, ownership, and impact from day one.

Aufgaben

You’ll work side-by-side with inca’s COO/CFO, moving across fast-changing priorities and owning critical pieces of the machine room — from product feedback to operational and financial execution.

• 🧑‍💻 Operate the core. Actively test and use our AI platform — process (test) claims, challenge outputs, and feed insights back into product development.
• 🛠️ Build and optimize systems. Help design, document, and improve processes across Operations, Finance, and HR — keeping inca scalable as we grow.
• 💸 Run the numbers. Support financial operations — prepare accounting materials, performance analyses, and investor reports.
• 🧾 Keep our people engine running. Assist in HR and people ops — from onboarding and contract management to maintaining key company data.
• 📑 Drive special projects. Prepare decks and materials for investors, regulators, and internal strategy reviews — and jump in wherever the company needs leverage.

Qualifikation

What You Bring

• 🎓 You’re currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• 📦 You’ve completed 2+ internships or working student roles in Operations or Finance — ideally in AI, tech, or fast-scaling startups.
• 💡 You’re structured, reliable, and proactive — the kind of person who keeps the engine running when things get fast.
• ✍️ You communicate clearly, stay curious, and dive deep to truly understand and improve processes.
• 🗣️ You speak German and English fluently — and can switch between both with ease.
