Our software optimizes the control of heating systems in the housing sector, reducing both emissions and energy consumption. By digitalizing and automating control processes, we’re actively driving the energy transition forward.

We’re looking for a freelance IT Administrator to support our growing team by managing internal access and security, setting up systems during onboarding and offboarding, and offering hands-on support to employees and devices. If you're experienced in general IT administration and enjoy creating smooth, secure tech environments, we’d love to hear from you!

Access & Security Management

• Manage user access rights and security settings across internal systems
• Set up and remove access during onboarding and offboarding
• Maintain and improve access control processes and documentation

IT Administration
Including but not limited to:

• Administer and maintain platforms such as:
• Google Workspace
• Jira
• Bitwarden
• Notion
• VPN
• Slack
• Support office infrastructure (e.g., Wi-Fi, printer setup, router configuration)

Employee Support

• Provide first-level IT support for Windows, macOS, and Linux devices
• Assist with software and hardware troubleshooting
• Maintain laptop fleet and define machine specifications for new hires

Additional Tasks

• Run IT security training during onboarding and suggest annual refreshers
• Keep IT inventory and documentation up to date
• Support website and domain admin basics (e.g., DNS, email routing)

• 🎓 Degree or vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in)
• 🖥️ Experience with Windows, macOS & Linux systems
• 🌐 Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• 👤 Google Workspace & user account management
• 🔒 Foundational IT security knowledge (firewalls, antivirus, 2FA)
• 💾 Experience with backup & recovery procedures
• 🌍 Basic website/domain admin skills
• 🛠️ Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware & software)
• 🗣️ Solid communication in English and German
• 📋 Basic documentation and IT inventory handling
• 🏢 Willingness to work onsite in our Berlin office every two weeks
