Working field:

Liquidloop GmbH develops cutting-edge laboratory instrumentation for electrochemical and mass spectrometry applications. We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to support the development, assembly, validation, and certification of our systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a start-up environment, combining creativity with precision, and with a strong commitment to quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering (focus on assembly, production, testing, or QA)
• Solid knowledge in mechanics, industrial production, hardware validation, and quality assurance
• Hands-on experience with workshop machinery (drill press, milling machine, disk cutter, etc.)
• Familiarity with vacuum systems, pneumatics, and fluidics is a plus
• Experience with certification processes (CE or similar) highly valued
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills (QA reports, non-conformities, root-cause analysis)
• Creative and curious in developing optimized manufacturing/assembly solutions
• Organized, detail-oriented, and diligent, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, motivated to grow in a start-up environment
• Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
• German proficiency: minimum A2 required; B2+ is a strong advantage
