We are looking for an experienced and professional cooking assistant to work in a restaurant and hotel in Berlin, Germany (m/f/d).

With the following terms and conditions :

• Candidates of all genders.
• Full-time position.
• Salary from 12,41€/ hour (If the German minimum wage is higher than €12.41 per hour, then the higher minimum wage applies) 1.985,6€/ month gross.
• Overtime compensation provided.

• 25 days of annual leave.

Your responsibilities:

• Preparing ingredients for dishes according to recipes.
• Assisting chefs with cooking and food preparation tasks.
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Organizing and storing ingredients and supplies.
• Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Plating and garnishing dishes before they are served.
• Following instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.

Your qualification:

• Completion of at least 2 years of university or vocational training.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the chosen field.
• A2 level profiency in German

• Certificates of employment for experiences listed in the CV
• German language certificate from an ALTE-certified institution (such as Goethe-Institut, TestDaf, ÖSD, Telc GmbH, or ELC)

Additional Information: The cost of living in Berlin, Germany, is approximately 900€ per month.
