Your Tasks
- Design, build, and maintain cloud computing systems (Kubernetes, Openstack)
- Planning and implementation of IT projects in the area of cloud computing
- Automation of deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines (e.g. with FluxCD)
- Ongoing evaluation of new technologies for use in the Centre to further develop our modern IT platform
- Share your expertise with colleagues from different teams through a variety of formats.
- You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable field, or can demonstrate experience and skills from equivalent activities.
- You possess knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Podman, Rancher).
- You complement these skills with good knowledge of typical operating systems (especially Linux), good knowledge of TCP/IP-based IT networks and IT monitoring (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana).
- You have a structured, solution-oriented working style, are passionate about the topic, and enjoy working in a team.
- You possess good communication skills in German and English (both at least B2 level CEFR).
