SOFTGAMES is a leading instant games development studio, and we are offering a remote Mandatory Internship (Pflichtpraktikum) opportunity for a Game Design student. Join our team and contribute to the development of "Mtaching Moments"

As a Game Design Intern at SOFTGAMES, you'll be focusing on implementing story and world content for "Matching Moments". While this is primarily a Game Design Internship , it is also a great opportunity to gain insights into other areas of game development and the games industry as a whole by collaborating with our diverse team that works from all over the world. You will be using our internal content editor to shape an engaging gaming experience. This is a full-time opportunity based in Berlin, Germany with the flexibility to work from our Berlin office or remotely (or in a combination of the two). Other locations in Germany can be also considered.

Your role…

• Implement captivating story and world content for "Solitaire Home Story" using our internal content editor.

• Collaborate with artists and developers to ensure a cohesive gameplay experience.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative input to enhance game design.

• Learn and apply best practices in game design, gaining hands-on experience in the industry.

Your profile…

• Enrolled in a relevant program such as Game Design or Interaction Design.

• Passion for gaming and understanding of what makes games enjoyable.

• Familiarity with game design principles and eagerness to learn.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
