The Role
We’re seeking a Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes to drive the evolution of our cloud-native platform. You’ll take ownership of designing and developing Kubernetes Operators and infrastructure automation tools that ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our SaaS offering. We’re seeking a Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes to drive the evolution of our cloud-native platform. You’ll take ownership of designing and developing Kubernetes Operators and infrastructure automation tools that ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our SaaS offering. What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain
Kubernetes Operators
and supporting automation for a large-scale SaaS platform.

Architect resilient systems across
multi-region and multi-cloud
environments (GCP and AWS).

Collaborate with product and platform teams to define requirements, deliver new features, and optimise reliability.

Continuously improve the codebase with a focus on performance, observability, and security.

Participate in on-call rotations and provide escalation support for critical production systems.

Mentor engineers and champion best practices in cloud-native design, infrastructure automation, and continuous delivery.
What You Bring

Strong experience in
Go
(or equivalent language for cloud-native systems).

Deep understanding of
Kubernetes internals
and experience building or maintaining Kubernetes Operators.

Proven track record working with
cloud service providers
(AWS, GCP, or Azure).

A pragmatic, hands-on mindset — balancing long-term architectural vision with day-to-day delivery.

A collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for mentoring and sharing knowledge.
