You will monitor and evaluate evolving privacy regulations and political developments, advising on their potential impact on Apple’s business. Additionally, you will engage with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders to advocate for Apple’s interests and support its business operations by managing privacy risks in the region’s complex and rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. You will also conduct Data Protection Impact and Legitimate Interest Assessments for new products and services and help the team meet obligations under the GDPR and other regional privacy frameworks. Willingness to travel within the EMEIA region and globally as needed.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to balance legal risk with strategic and operational needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex legal concepts to technical and non-legal stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities under tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining international data transfer frameworks and related compliance documentation.
  • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diverse legal and political landscape in the EMEIA Region.
  • Fluency in English required
  • Bachelor of Law, J.D., LL.B, or equivalent legal degree.

  • Additional knowledge of privacy laws and regulations in India, Turkey, Israel, and across the Middle East and Africa and their growing impact on global data protection is a plus.
  • Experience supporting and coordinating regulatory documentation obligations under GDPR and other regional privacy laws.

At Apple, we’re not all the same. And that’s our greatest strength. We draw on the differences in who we are, what we’ve experienced, and how we think. Because to create products that serve everyone, we believe in including everyone. Therefore, we are committed to treating all applicants fairly and equally. We will work with applicants to make any reasonable accommodations.
