Responsibilities
At Aroundhome, we are dedicated to making data the foundation of our product strategy and business decisions. To drive this further, we are building up a department of Product Analytics to tackle the most challenging tasks from the business and user side, improve processes and tools, and drive data excellence across the organization.
As a Product Analyst, you work embedded in our product engineering teams, side by side with Product Managers, Engineers & Designers to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and shape the direction of our products while empowering them to make confident, data-informed decisions that improve how and what we build.
- Be embedded in a product team: Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to bring a data perspective to product discovery, development, and iteration
- Drive data-informed product decisions : Translate complex data into clear insights that guide feature development and help teams understand user behavior and business impact
- Experimentation & A/B testing: Design, set up, and analyze experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of new features and product changes
- Define and monitor product metrics: Collaborate with stakeholders to define meaningful KPIs and ensure teams can track progress effectively
- Build accessible insights: Create intuitive dashboards and data sources that make insights visible and actionable across teams
- Foster data literacy: Help raise the level of data fluency across the company by sharing knowledge, challenging assumptions, and promoting analytical thinking
- Collaborate with Data Engineering: Ensure data quality, accessibility, and efficient reporting through seamless collaboration with our Data Engineering team
Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science)
- Proven experience (2 years) in a product analytics role, partnering closely with product managers and engineering teams to guide feature development, preferably in a B2C or marketplace environment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R etc) as well as data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Metabase etc)
- Solid understanding of Product Analytics, including user behavior analysis, A/B testing, and statistical analysis
- Curiosity to look for patterns and trends, as well as strong communication skills, and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
