For our esteemed client in the energy technology and power transmission sector, we are looking for a

Project Engineer HVDC (m/f/d) for the location in Berlin.

This role offers you the opportunity to develop deep technical expertise in item designation and asset management while collaborating with global teams, customers, and partners on mission-critical projects that shape the energy transition.

Your tasks:

• Planning, designing, and implementing item designation solutions according to industry standards (RDSPP, NKS, IEC) and project requirements
• Creation, processing, and management of item designations and equipment registers in databases and Excel
• Ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability throughout the full data lifecycle
• Acting as technical project owner for asset register and system breakdown structure
• Documentation of item designation processes, decisions, and deliverables
• Coordination with Engineering teams, Project Management, customers, and suppliers
• Management of technical requirements, schedules, and deliverables ensuring timely and compliant delivery

Your qualification:

• Master´s degree or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in system breakdown structures, asset registers, and item designation across engineering disciplines (HV systems, LV systems, Electrical distribution, Automation)
• Proficiency in Excel and database management tools for engineering and asset management
• Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities
• Team player with ability to work in multicultural environments and meet deadlines with high quality
• Language skills: English (mandatory), German (fluent)
