Core Payments IT is running a number of large-scale transformation projects in the areas of Core Payments and Core Banking. The projects involve renovation of the application landscape, building modular architecture, delivering new products and services, and creating foundation for new business/revenue models.

We are looking for a Lead QA Automation Engineer (f/m/x) to join development team. In this role, you will be responsible for full lifecycle of quality assurance tasks working in close collaboration with FAs and other development teams. You will participate in design and analysis, implementation, and level 3 production support of the platform.

You will work in close collaboration with the respective business departments and local and remote developers/analysts/project managers from partnering teams.

Your key responsibilities

• Defining and driving test strategy, including functional, regression, and integration testing approaches

• Leading the design, development, and supervision of automated test suites and frameworks

• Managing quality risks, test planning, compliance reporting

• Overseeing test environments and infrastructure, ensuring stability for automation needs.

• Mentoring QA engineers and promoting best practices in test automation and quality engineering

Your skills and experiences

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with test automation (Java/Kotlin is preferrable)

• Strong expertise in designing and maintaining test frameworks

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests

• Strategic thinking with a focus on maintainability and cross-team collaboration

• Written and spoken English
