Channel Applications
Corporate Bank Technology has embarked on a multi-year technology refresh program that includes revitalization of "Channel" applications for payment initiation. As a Lead Engineer (f/m/x), you will be working on adding functionality to a global payment initiation platform that has React based micro frontends backed by Java powered micro-services deployed in a containerized environment. The platform uses event streaming over Kafka and varied datastores such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, HBase, MongoDB.
You'll collaborate with other Senior Engineers and Analysts on the platform embracing agile practices to incrementally add functionality to the platform, with a sharp focus on automation. You will partner with business and technology managers to define modules and enhancements to the application stack that provides Deutsche Bank's institutional clients ability to initiate payments in real time and access to their account balances & statements in near real time. You will enable the digital environment that helps our people share their knowledge, expertise, and real passion for our business. Your key responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA) is responsible for ensuring testing strategies, plans and deliverables are executed for all applications and programs of work within their domain.
Designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and other technical products to ensure expected functional performance
Investigating instances where software and technical products do not perform as expected
Designing and conducting quality assurance practices to support business development activities
Driving the adoption of recognized best practice and policy and contributes to the ongoing improvement of methodologies and assets for the business
Recording of defects and the collation of metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes
Your skills and experiences
Strong knowledge and several years of working experience of Selenium/playwright, Postman, SQL, Cucumber, working with Rest APIs
Knowledge/experience of building test automation suites and ability to work with existing frameworks
Manage SIT, work with business on UAT and own regression & performance testing ahead of every release
Experience of working within Agile frameworks is essential as are strong communication skills and teamwork
Ability to decompose acceptance criteria into detailed test cases using decision tree
Good to have: Java, Javascript, Node.js, Knowledge on Google cloud technology
Good to have: Knowledge on performance testing tools like perfmon, load runner etc.
