Own and elevate quality in our Solution Business by leading preventive quality engineering, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, improve firstpass yield, and strengthen customer satisfaction, while embedding datadriven quality practices across engineering and operations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support of the specialist departments in quality-relevant topics
- Knowledge of principles of software development
- Test knowledge (e.g. ISO 7816) and approval processes (e.g. waterfall)
- Understanding of certification requirements
- Preparation of Statements towards customers
- Requesting and evaluating statements from suppliers (internal/external)
- Leading quality and escalation meetings with customers, suppliers & internal
- Leading in defect analysis using the 8D systematic (5 Why/ Ishikawa/ Poka-Yoka)
- Evaluation of complaints by means of visual and electronic analysis
- Creation and maintenance of quality relevant key figures
- Identification of operational risks related to the quality of customer documents with subsequent evaluation
- Support in the creation and revision of specifications
- Support in supplier development (including supplier audits)
- Project management in quality improvement projects in an international environment (Six Sigma preferred)
Your Qualifications:
- Completed engineering studies or many years of experience in a comparable field with further training as a technician
- Proven years of professional experience in the field of quality, ideally in an international environment
- Experienced in the smart card and/or smart card reader and personalization industry is an Advantage
- Expertise in the use of common quality methods, e.g. FMEA & 8D
- Project management competence, ideally according to DMAIC (Six Sigma)
- Distinct understanding of processes as well as a high solution and service orientation
- Commercial understanding and entrepreneurial action
- Analytical skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver trainings at all level
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%
