Kleinanzeigen is looking for an experienced and driven Real Estate Operations Manager to support our strong market growth during a maternity leave cover. In this role, you’ll work closely with the VP of Real Estate and cross-functional teams to strengthen one of Kleinanzeigen’s key business areas.

You’ll connect Sales, Product, Tech, and Marketing to drive alignment, execution, and impact – helping us on our mission to become Germany’s most popular platform for private and professional real estate.

This position is a parental leave cover for approximately 12 months (depending on start date). Join us in this hybrid role, our office is in Berlin-Charlottenburg and you report to the VP of Real Estate.

What You’ll Do

• Executive Support: Provide high-level support by tracking business performance, preparing executive deliverables (e.g., for operations reviews and board meetings), and enabling effective decision-making.

• Operations: Oversee and continuously improve the operations of our cross-functional Real Estate Business Unit — one of Kleinanzeigen’s strongest growth drivers. Facilitate strategic discussions, drive clarity on priorities, and ensure consistent follow-through on key initiatives.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster impactful collaboration by connecting departments and strengthening relationships across all levels. Gain buy-in across a matrix organization and influence stakeholders without direct reporting lines.

• Strategy: Act as a strategic partner to the VP Real Estate and the Business Unit leadership team, which includes senior leaders from business, product, technology, sales, and marketing.

• Projects & Events: Lead and support key strategic projects and major events across the Real Estate Business Unit and in collaboration with other departments.

Who You Are

• You bring 5+ years of experience in consulting, real estate, e-commerce, or strategic operations roles.

• You show initiative and drive — taking ownership, contributing proactively, and helping teams achieve great results.

• You take a constructive, hands-on approach to optimizing operational rhythms (rituals, artefacts, and communication flows). You’re comfortable with ambiguity and take action without waiting for direction.

• You think strategically, breaking down complex challenges and turning them into actionable recommendations that help teams focus on what matters most.

• You collaborate effectively and communicate with clarity — distilling complex topics into clear, compelling narratives. You have experience preparing executive-level communications.

• (Nice to have) You have a deep understanding of the real estate industry and current market trends.

• You enjoy building relationships and working collaboratively across diverse teams and functions.

• You are fluent in English; fluency in German is a strong plus.
