Overview
As the MEP Engineering Service Delivery Manager, you will lead the delivery of engineering services across multiple European locations excluding Germany and UK&I. This includes managing Tier 1 and 2 vendor partners, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the Bank’s sustainability and Net Zero goals. You’ll oversee engineering operations, drive innovation, and align services with strategic business objectives. The role also involves ensuring service continuity, optimizing performance, and integrating technology to enhance building efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities and Leadership
Lead MEP engineering services across assigned regions, ensuring seamless coordination with FM functions and maintaining high operational standards.
Drive service efficiency by implementing new platforms, processes, and organizational models that support stable, scalable delivery.
Contribute to strategic planning and lead the rollout of innovative engineering solutions while ensuring continuity of existing operations.
Support global initiatives and apply industry best practices to enhance engineering performance, client flexibility, and regional adaptability.
Monitor and optimize performance against financial and sustainability targets, leading energy initiatives aligned with Net Zero goals.
Provide leadership and oversight to internal teams and Tier 1 vendors, reporting to the Regional Facility Services Manager and collaborating globally to uphold standards and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, with an engineering qualification or equivalent.
Leadership & Team Development: Proven leadership experience (minimum 3 years), with a strong track record in building high-performing teams, promoting equal opportunities, and driving continuous development and succession planning.
Facilities & Engineering Expertise: Senior-level experience in FM/Engineering, with deep MEP knowledge and broad understanding of Facilities Management, including procurement systems, contracts, asset registers, and project delivery.
Vendor & Service Oversight: Skilled in managing Tier 1 Engineering Services leads and ensuring vendor compliance with safety, contractual, and performance standards.
Strategic & Operational Skills: Strong planning, prioritization, and execution abilities aligned with strategic goals, including experience managing bids and price-quality relationships.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Applies logical, analytical, and creative thinking to solve complex problems using experience and available data.
Communication & Adaptability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to change and respond positively to shifting conditions.
