Research Associate (PostDoc) - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - Qualification to take up a full professorship for the first time

Your responsibility:
Research and teaching at the Institute of Mathematics especially in the field of applied algebra in the area of combinatorial, geometric and algorithmic group theory, theoretical computer science, combinatorics, and /ogic, including supervision of seminars and lectures, teaching of exercise classes (4 hours per week for a full-time position), co-supervision of Bachelor and MSc students/theses.
Your profile:
- Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master's, Diploma or equivalent) and, at the time of recruitment, a doctorate in mathematics or theoretical computer science in the field of geometric, combinatorial or algorithmic group theory
- Expertise in geometric or combinatorical group theory, strong interest in combinatorics, logic and theoretical computer science
- The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
