A Snapshot of Your Day 
A typical day in this role is characterized by critical thinking, technological creativity, and international collaboration. In the morning, you will work on the further development of international automation and robotics frameworks for field service and coordinate with engineering and IT teams on new digital solutions. In multi-functional meetings, you will coordinate pilot projects, drive standardization, and prepare international rollouts. In the afternoon, you will attend workshops with regional service units, where you will act as a lateral leader to support the introduction of new technologies, encourage acceptance, and empower teams worldwide. Your work will have a direct impact on the efficiency and quality of service operations, strengthen Siemens Energy's innovative power, and support the mission of making sustainable energy solutions available globally.
How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Set the technological course – actively shape the digital transformation in field service by developing and implementing global automation and robotics strategies
• Enable multi-functional collaboration – break down silos as a lateral leader and establish a uniform technology base across departments, regions, and hierarchies
• Drive innovation – shape the digitalization of service processes in the long term by designing and implementing new hardware and software solutions
• Set global standards – pilot technologies, roll them out internationally, and establish uniform, scalable solutions in field operations worldwide
• Use robotics intelligently – identify suitable use cases and implement robot-assisted maintenance processes together with partners
• Support and enable change – act as a multiplier to anchor new technologies in the company, promote acceptance, and enable teams worldwide to use them

What You Bring

• University degree or equivalent experience (master's or diploma) in automation technology, robotics, mechatronics, computer science, or comparable field; doctorate an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in the development and implementation of automation or robotics solutions, ideally in an industrial service environment
• High proficiency in the lateral management of complex, international technology projects
• In-depth knowledge of digital process architectures, IoT technologies, and system integration
• Strong ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, moderate discussions, and resolve conflicts
• Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
