MachTrade GmbH is a leading company in the international trading of CNC machines, specializing in Mori Seiki machines. We are looking for an experienced Senior CNC Machines Engineer and Appraisal Specialist with a strong background in working with various CNC machine models, particularly Mori Seiki machines. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, exceptional diagnostic abilities, and extensive experience in the valuation and trading of used CNC machines.

Tasks

•CNC Machine Diagnostics: Easily identify machine issues based on physical inspection and photos/videos.
•Appraisal & Valuation: Accurately estimate the value of used CNC machines by assessing technical specifications, accessories, and the condition of machines based on photos, videos, and on-site inspections. Extensive knowledge of the global market for used CNC machines is essential.
•Trading & Sales Support: Provide technical support to the sales and trading by advising on machine conditions, pricing, and potential resale values, with a focus on Mori Seiki machines.
•Client/Seller Consultation: Consult with international clients and sellers regarding the status of a machine, issues, repair needs and costs, machine specifications, and maintenance requirements to support their business objectives.
• Machine Inspections & Travel: Conduct machine inspections at auction sites, workshops, and factories. This will involve travel within Germany, the EU region, and internationally.
•Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement improvements in machine performance and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•Extensive experience (10+ years) working with CNC machines, with a strong focus on Mori Seiki machines across various models.
•In-depth understanding of the components and functionalities of CNC machines.
•Proven ability to diagnose machine issues based on visual inspection, technical specifications, and machine performance data.
•Significant experience in the maintenance, repair, and setup of CNC machines.
•Expert knowledge of the international market for used CNC machines, with the ability to accurately appraise and estimate machine values.
•Extensive experience in the trading of CNC machines, particularly Mori Seiki machines, is essential. This includes in-depth knowledge of the used machine market, pricing trends, and the ability to evaluate the value of different models based on technical specifications, condition, and accessories.
•Strong computer skills and familiarity with EDV systems.
•Good English skills (both written and spoken) with a strong command of technical terms and idioms related to CNC machines and international trading. English is the only required language for this role as it involves international communication and trading.
