Für unseren Kunden in Berlin suchen wir zum 01.12. einen Senior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) für die voraussichtliche Dauer bis Mai 2026 mit der Option auf Verlängerung.

Ihre Aufgaben:

- Writing production grade automation and provisioning code to implement architecture design specifications.

- Writing unit tests and providing code documentation.

- Actively participating and contributing in activities such as agile ceremonies.

- Making technical decisions within the boundaries set by the architecture design.

- Communication of decisions to peers, architects and relevant stakeholders.

- Generate and communicate status reports to lead architects and delivery leads.

- Facilitation of meetings and presentation of technical concepts in simple terms to medium sized audiences.

- Providing guidance to other development stakeholders.

Ensuring on-time delivery of application features and/or entire software components.

- Identifying opportunities for improvements towards the development process.

- Promoting and fostering agile ways of working.

Ihre Anforderungen:

- 8+ Year of Experience in professional DevOps Development using Ansible and Terraform.

- Proven advanced Ansible proficiency through multiple projects. Strong mastery of end-system integration via REST

APIs and SSH with solid experience in error handling,

- Extensive experience with researching, understanding and building workflows for end-to-end provisioning across

multiple end systems within combined workflows.

- Expertise in modular design concepts, with an emphasis on separation of concerns and maintainable codebases.

- Strong grasp of automated testing frameworks (pytest, unittest, or equivalent), show by project history

- Experience working with multiple database paradigms: Relational (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB).

- Deep understanding of Kubernetes to be able to provide lifecycle support for k8s clusters.

- Experience with hardened DevOps workflows that automatically recover from end system communication failures

and can fail gracefully with consistent behavior.

- Good understanding of Linux operating systems especially within Linux networking and security (firewalls) space.

Must-have language skills:

- fluent English in speech and writing (at least C1)

- Rancher & RKE2 (Deployment & Administration), Including use of Terraform / Ansible to manage lifecycle of Rancher

and management of the lifecycle of RKE2 clusters through the Rancher platform with Ansible/Terraform.

- JFrog Artifactory (Deployment & Administration), Including use of Terraform to manage lifecycle.

- Hashicorp Vault (Deployment & Administration), Including use of Terraform to manage lifecycle.

- Open Telemetry (Deployment & Administration), Including use of Terraform to manage lifecycle.

- Good understanding of FluxCD and ArgoCD.

- Experience with programmatic (API or Ansible) use of networking fabric controllers (Cisco APIC, Juniper Apstra).

- Experience with programmatic (API or Ansible) use of hypervisor managers (VMware vCenter).

- Experience with programmatic (API or Ansible) use of storage platforms (NetApp ONTAP, Ceph).
