As a Senior Java/React FullStack Engineer (f/m/x), you will play a key role in this transformation, working across backend and frontend to deliver the next generation of Deutsche Bank’s electronic trading capabilities within Core Trading Technology

Your key responsibilities

• Leveraging AI-powered tools to prototype new features to meet business needs and solve challenging technical problems.

• Designing and implementing technical solutions for platform modernisation.

• Developing new React-based web interfaces and integrating them with existing applications using a data-driven approach.

• Writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

• Collaborating closely with the engineering team while maintaining openness and responsiveness to business stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.

Your skills and experiences

• Excellent knowledge of core Java (collections, multi-threading, networking), with many years of hands-on experience; Kotlin knowledge or willingness to learn is a plus.

• Solid experience with React and modern frontend development practices.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases, with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL.

• Experience with Hibernate is a must; familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in working on business and functional requirements, technical analysis, and design - is a plus.
