Für unseren Kunden in Berlin suchen wir ab dem 06.10. einen Senior Platform QA Engineer (m/w/d) Pytest für die voraussichtliche Dauer bis Ende Dezember 2025 mit der Option auf Verlängerung.

Ihre Aufgaben:

- Analyzation of the requirements and dependencies for Kubernetes as a Service, data services (K8s-based operations

for data technologies), and DevOps tools

- Design and implement automated end-to-end platform tests

- Coordination with Product Line QA to maintain and improve test coverage across all testing levels (according to the

testing pyramid)

- Perform test planning, test case design, manual execution, and automation

- Conduct regression testing and provide final QA approval for releases

- Log, track, and validate bug fixes

- Prepare and present comprehensive QA reports for the Product Management

- Designing, implementation, and maintaining of automated test scenarios covering key platform workflows and cross-

service interactions

- Executing of regression and release validation tests to ensure reliability and performance before deployments

- Defining and executing of test plans for both functional and non-functional requirements

- Conducting of final QA sign-off based on test outcomes and defined release criteria

- Maintaining of a balanced test strategy aligned with the testing pyramid (unit, integration, system, end-to-end)

- Coordination of test scope with delivery priorities and technical architecture of Kubernetes-as-a-Service, data services,

and DevOps tools

- Performing of manual test execution where automation is not feasible or during early iterations

- Consulting on architectural and operational risks based on platform usage patterns and incident reports

- Analyzing of test failures and recurring defects to inform structural quality improvements

- Log, triage, and track bugs through to resolution, prioritizing based on delivery impact

- Preparation and maintaining of test documentation including test cases, coverage reports, and test outcomes

- Providing clear QA status updates and release readiness reports to Product Management and Engineering

- Highlighting key risks, coverage gaps, and improvement areas based on test data and platform feedback loop

Ihre Anforderungen:

Must-Have:

- Experience in large scale projects or programs

- Experience in pytest and automation of cloud native services

- Proficiency in testing under Linux/Unix environments

- Understanding of CI/CD principles

- Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation

- Strong analytical skills, particularly in troubleshooting complex cloud-native environments

- Experience establishing QA processes and implementing best practices from the ground up

- Experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation

- Experience in software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Fluent English in speech and writing (at least C1)

Preferred experience:

- Experience with multi-cloud environments and cloud-native testing approaches

- Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration technologies

- Familiarity with TestRail or other test management tools

- Experience with infrastructure platform projects
