As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/x), you’ll work in a cross-functional team to build and improve our fast-growing mobile and web app. You’ll take ownership of new features and collaborate with product and design teams to meet user needs.

What you'll do here at Sharpist

• Own outcomes, not just tickets: shape problems with PM and Design, run lightweight discovery, prototype, measure, iterate.

• Ship value early and often: break down features, reduce complexity, and deliver user impact quickly.

• Raise the quality bar: improve performance, accessibility, reliability, and maintainability to make the product feel "effortless.”

• Make data-informed decisions: define success metrics, instrument tracking, and learn from usage.

• Collaborate across the stack: partner with design for polished UX, coordinate with backend for robust APIs, and mentor teammates to scale good product practices.

• You have 5+ years of frontend development experience with a strong portfolio in web and mobile .

• You are an expert in ReactJS & React Native with a deep understanding of core principles and the ecosystem.

• You have mastery in TypeScript and can write clean, robust, and type-safe TypeScript code.

• You have a solid grasp of web fundamentals like HTML5, CSS3 , responsive design, and experience with RESTful APIs/GraphQL .

• You are proficient in testing, with experience using Jest for unit/integration tests, and knowledge of Storybook/Chromatic and Playwright (E2E) is a significant advantage.

• You are a team player and collaborator, with excellent communication skills, agile (SCRUM) experience , and a proven track record of working with design/backend teams and mentoring others.

• You are a problem-solver and innovator, with strong analytical skills and a passion for leveraging AI and new technologies.

Highly desirable:

• GraphQL expertise.

• Familiarity with Figma.

• Experience with TDD.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools.

• Node.js backend experience.

• Experience in startup.
