Core Responsibilities – Software Engineer Dresden
- Development & Maintenance of Core Platform Services: Design, develop, and maintain critical services including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), user and group management, and data persistence solutions.
- Microservices Architecture: Contribute to the evolution and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and secure service-oriented architectures.
- Technology Stack Implementation: Build, deploy, and manage containerized services using Java, Golang, C#, and/or C within a Kubernetes environment.
- Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with development, product, and security teams throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to deliver high-quality, secure solutions.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 2 years of hands-on software development experience .
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Java, Golang, C#, and/or C , authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML), user and permission management, event-driven infrastructures, and security in service-oriented architectures (SOA) .
- Database & Data Pipeline Knowledge: Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Flink , and cluster management tools like Patroni or Strimzi .
- Cloud & Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes .
- DevOps & Agile Practices: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control , and agile development methodologies.
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Gitlab/Git, Docker, Kubernetes , and at least one programming language from Java, Golang, C#, or C .
- Experience with Identity Providers (e.g., KeyCloak, Okta) and MFA solutions.
- Knowledge of Secret Stores, Vaults, and certificate management .
- Familiarity with Service Registries and security aspects of service-oriented systems.
- Advanced experience with databases, data pipelines , and event-driven systems .
- Exposure to workflow automation, orchestration , and cluster-capable architectures.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies and front-end integrations.
