To strengthen our team at the Clinic for Hematology and Oncology (Ward 22) at the Emil von Behring Clinic in Berlin-Zehlendorf, we are looking for you as Deputy Ward Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible
What to expect
- Assisting ward management with the organizational management of the nursing team, including workforce planning, resource allocation, and workflows
- Participation in ensuring high quality of treatment by implementing current nursing and medical standards in the haematological and oncological setting
- Expansion and maintenance of a positive team dynamic through transparent communication, regular consultations and individual assistance for employees
- Collaboration with doctors, therapists and related disciplines to ensure holistic care for patients
- Support for further training and induction processes as well as mentoring to promote the professional skills of employees
- Ensuring comprehensible and complete care documentation in the haematological-oncological environment within the framework of applicable quality assurance measures
What you bring to the table
- Completed 3-year training as a nurse, preferably with further training as a ward manager or experience in a management position
- Relevant professional experience in the nursing sector, desirable in the haematological and oncological field
- Strong leadership skills, a high sense of responsibility and willingness to adapt flexibly to new requirements and actively participate in digitization projects
- Empathetic, clear communication paired with systematic work organization for the efficient design of processes
- Up-to-date expertise on nursing standards and legal requirements as well as technical understanding of modern medical devices and technologies
- Legally required proof of immunization against measles
