Role summary
StartSteps is seeking to hire a full-time student administrator role in Berlin (hybrid) to support our programs. This role will be responsible for supporting the administration of our programs day to day. There will be a role development phase to gradually take on the full scope of responsibilities over the first 3-4 months.
Tasks
Administration Tasks:
- Administration tasks for students of our programs including:
- Paperwork and contracting for students contracts and educational voucher management
- Student tech equipment management
- Tracking and reporting of attendance data
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and email correspondence
- Related back-office tasks
Student Support Tasks:
- Own course kickoffs to welcome students to the course and help them have a productive start.
- Become the go-to person for student support: offering proactive check-ins and fast help for students.
- Improve our admin systems: simplify templates and tracking, reduce back-and-forth, and keep data clean and up to date
Requirements
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in program or student administration as well as customer experience with clients, students or customers.
- You are a people person, with the ability to establish productive working atmospheres and good relationships with a wide range of people.
- You have excellent organizational skills with a reliable, precise and structured way of working and an affinity for digital processes.
- You are independent, communicative and an organizational professional.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German, C1 in both languages.
