IT Systems Administrator (f/m/d) for Virtualisation and Cloud Computing
Your Tasks
- Installation, configuration and operational maintenance of virtualisation and cloud computing systems (ESXi, Openstack)
- Design, implementation and optimisation of virtualisation and cloud computing infrastructures for a heterogeneous IT landscape
- Participation in IT projects, both in the planning and execution of work steps
- Ongoing evaluation of new technologies for use in the Centre to further develop our modern IT platform
- Share your expertise with colleagues from different teams through a variety of formats
- You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable field, or can demonstrate experience and skills from equivalent activities.
- You already have experience working with hypervisors and are familiar with automation tools in cloud environments (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).
- You complement these skills with good knowledge of typical operating systems (especially Linux), good knowledge of TCP/IP-based IT networks and IT monitoring (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana).
- You have a structured, solution-oriented working style, are passionate about the topic, and enjoy working in a team.
- You have good communication skills in German and English (both at least B2 level CEFR).
