Microids Germany – Berlin

Microids Berlin is the official office of Microids the French video game publisher that was founded in 1985. Microids’ editorial strategy now focuses on 4 major areas: adventure games, racing games, retro gaming and games inspired by iconic titles. By collaborating with renowned studios and authors (Pendulo Studios, Eden Studios,Paul Cuisset, …), Microids has become a major player in international video games. Taking inspiration from legendary titles, including Asterix & Obelix, the Smurf, Garfield, Gear Club, Syberia or Blacksad, Microids reaches a wide audience and creates original adventures which gives gamers the chance to play as some of their most beloved characters.

Tasks

• Serve as the primary point of contact between internal departments at Microids group (Marketing and Sales)
• Main contact between the Headquarter (Paris) department and the office in Berlin
• Coordinate the trade marketing assets, partnerships and strategies of the Berlin office with all worldwide distribution partners.
• Coordination of trade marketing initiative if needed.
• Work closely with the communications and marketing team at the headquarter on a daily basis, execute local campaign strategies from the conception to launch.
• Report of all trade marketing activities
• Attendance of trade shows and video game events

Requirements

• Requires a sales, marketing or equivalent experience
• experience in a gaming-related brand and/or role is a plus.
• A passion for video games is a plus.
• Organisation, communication and management skills
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
• In-depth knowledge in product marketing within a games publisher or gaming related media and/or creative agency preferred
• Experience managing budget controlling trade marketing goals
• Advanced Office, PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Fluent level of German and English is required (written and verbal). French (verbal) is a plus
