What to Expect
The Warehouse supervisor position communicates and leads organizational and operational needs, oversees employees' performance, provides guidance, support and identifies development needs of their teams and processes. The supervisor successfully manages the reciprocal relationship between staff and the organization so that each is aligned and successful. Further to this the Tesla supervisor holds integrity as a key deliverable in their daily duties.
What You’ll Do
- Support and reduction of HR tasks such as sickness, time and conflict management
- Coaches and documents development needs of direct reports
- Ensure Tesla warehouses and employees comply with EH&S requirements such as safe storage and handling of material, and equipment. And ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment for Tesla employees and visitors
- Ability to manage and set clear priorities for direct reports, teams and themselves to maximize performance and customer experience
- Organizing workflow by ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
- Implement and ensure effective and open communication within teams and Alset Warehouse organization
- Ability to identify needs to improve and then maintain work atmosphere
- Optimum utilization of resource and equipment to maximize efficiency and quality
- Manage forecasted volume and planning to ensure business growth & stability
- Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities, creative and critical thinking and solutions focused
- Accountability of business KPI’s and SLA’s
- Maintain a clean working environment in line with 5S standards
- Interaction with Tesla departments to jointly support a higher customer experience
- MHE fleet management. Including long term planning and maintenance
- PO responsible of direct departments
- 80% physical presence on operational departments
- Participates and leads in change management culture within Tesla
- Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback to drive optimization
- A role model and leads by example in line with Tesla code of conduct
What You’ll Bring
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to warehouse operations
- Experience with inventory management and control
- Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of workers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding productivity targets
- Experience in managing budgets and cost control
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics
