The Banking as a Service Operations (BaaS Ops) team seeks to ensure an efficient and smooth operation of the BaaS product suite. WeltSparen/Raisin is the most notable and important BaaS cooperation for Raisin Bank, however we also seek to our partner base and leverage our existing processes and infrastructure.

The activities of the BaaS Operations team span across the entire product value chain, establishing regulatory compliance as well as operational excellence in executing, monitoring and controlling projects, tasks and incidents.

As a Working Student, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic monitoring and reporting initiatives. Your main focus will be on translating complex business requirements into actionable data insights.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) related to banking and financial operations.

• Develop and maintain Looker dashboards to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive data-informed decision-making.

• Assist in extracting, cleaning, and validating data from various sources for analysis.

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and prepare concise presentations of findings.

• Proactively identify data inconsistencies or insights that could improve business outcomes.

Must-Haves:

• You’re currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Data Science, Economics, or a related area. We also welcome recent graduates eager to kick-start their careers with a full-time internship (6–12 months).

• Practical experience with Looker or a similar Business Intelligence (BI) tool, you know your way around dashboards and turning data into insights.

• A solid understanding of SQL and data visualisation fundamentals.

• A genuine interest in banking, financial services, or fintech.

• Strong analytical thinking, great attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

• The ability to explain complex data in a simple, compelling way to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous internship or academic experience in banking, finance, or a related sector.

• Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) used in banking or financial analysis.

• B2-level German skills.
