Working Student in Support of a Supply Chain Platform for Decarbonization
Über diesen Job
Intro
80 % of companies’ CO₂ emissions occur in their supply chain – yet supply chains are complex and often lack transparency. ctrl+s offers companies the shortcut: with our statistical model, we calculate the CO₂ baseline, and our supplier engagement platform enables efficient emissions reduction. Our claim: WeTalkNumbers with reliable data, real reductions, no bullshit.
As a working student, you will become part of our support team and help users make the most of our platform. Your main focus will be on first-level support, but we want to give you the opportunity to gradually take on additional tasks – from contributing to internal processes to supporting client projects. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in sustainability. Your field of study does not necessarily have to be in this area, but you should bring a clear affinity for it.
Tasks
- Provide first-level email support for our global clients (e.g. Siemens, TÜV SÜD, Siemens Energy) and their suppliers.
- Check accounts and user status in our internal database to resolve requests efficiently.
- Forward more complex issues to second-level support and gather additional information from the team where necessary.
Gradually take on further responsibilities, such as:
- Supporting ongoing client projects (assisting the Customer Success team)
- Contributing to analyses and internal processes
- Helping to design and deliver online workshops for suppliers
Requirements
- You are enrolled at a German university or university of applied sciences and will remain a student for at least one more year.
- You have 15–20 hours per week available to support us a few hours every working day.
- You have a strong interest in sustainability and decarbonization; a study background in this field is a plus.
- You have very good English skills, as support is mainly conducted in English; German and other languages are welcome.
- You have excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- You bring a proactive attitude, curiosity to learn, and the motivation to grow with the role.
- You are willing to sign a standardized confidentiality agreement (NDA) before starting.
Benefits
- Flexible working hours: we are looking for someone who can support us a few hours on every working day. The exact times are up to you.
- Option to work remotely within Germany or to use our office in a coworking space in Berlin Kreuzberg.
- Fair compensation of €17 per hour.
- Work in an international team and directly contribute to the CO₂ reduction of global companies.
- Gain valuable insights into supply chains, climate strategies, and sustainability projects in practice.
Closing
We look forward to receiving your application including a short cover letter, your CV, and relevant certificates. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and interviews may take place before a deadline is reached. The start date can be agreed upon individually, ideally as soon as possible.
