As the driving force behind digitization, the Informatics/Technology function unit has an influence on the whole of Swiss Post and is an important partner in its success. We go beyond core IT tasks and empower the company in its digital transformation. We use the latest technologies and work to advance agile, bimodal and embedded IT innovations. We develop new, secure business models and ensure that Swiss Post has a modern, high-performing ICT infrastructure. In addition, we are committed to the issue of sustainability: our headquarters in Bern have been awarded two certificates for sustainability. All newly built logistics centers meet the Gold sustainability standard at a minimum.

How you make a difference

You actively shape the development and expansion of our on-prem infrastructure's cloud connection with Terraform, and you do it in a responsible, solution-oriented, highly committed way.
You use sound concepts to configure our network infrastructure within the Azure cloud, from planning to successful implementation.
You come with new ideas for automation in the cloud and ensure smooth cloud operations.
As a capable point of contact, you support specialist units and teams when it comes to integrating and migrating applications and services to the cloud.
Through your project work, you make a major contribution towards the successful implementation of our cloud strategy.

What you have to offer

For this role, you have sound knowledge of network architectures and routing, plus cloud expertise (ideally Azure), and you have demonstrable experience in the areas of architecture, network and security.
You are no stranger to connectivity-related aspects such as Azure ExpressRoute or network aspects within the cloud (e.g. routing, subnets, VNETs, peering, NSGs, private endpoints, DNS, and so on).
You are familiar with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
You have a committed approach to tackling challenges and feel at home in agile environments.
You have an excellent spoken and written command of German and a good command of English.
