Your role and responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and expansion of infrastructure. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure and platform components. Your work will directly contribute to a highly available, scalable, and secure operating environment, achieved through continuous optimization and close collaboration within DevOps teams.
In addition, you will be responsible for designing and building CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development teams to deploy and manage OpenShift-based applications, ensuring seamless integration with the existing infrastructure.Your Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain infrastructure components and CI/CD pipelines
Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift clusters
Collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders
Monitor and optimize the performance of infrastructure and pipelines
Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions
Ensure integration with the client’s existing infrastructure

Minimum 2 years of experience as DevOps Engineer (preferably in public sector) in IT project
Minimum 2 years of experience in the following technologies:
Kubernetes (plus Kustomize and / or Helm)
Jenkins
PostgreSQL (or other databases)
Argo CD / Openshift GitOps
Jira / Confluence

Experience in working with Scrum or SAFe

Fluent in both English and German (written & spoken)

Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport

Preferred technical and professional experience

Ansible
Testing / Infrastructure Testing
OpenServiceBroker Specification
Git and GitOps principles
Monitoring
Knowledge of at least one high-level programming language
