Our Department at Bern University invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to work on a collaborative WSS Grant, 'Werner-Siemens Forschungszentrum für molekulare Quantensysteme (MolQ)'.

You are an independent, curious, creative, and ambitious team player who enjoys interdisciplinary science, mastering new things, and rigorous experimental work. You possess:
- PhD degree in organic chemistry with a strong track record
- Strong background in organic synthesis, preferably with experience in the synthesis of N-PAHs or fused electron donor-acceptor (D-A) ensemble, including work under moisture- and oxygen-free conditions
- Solid experience with common analytical and purification methods (e.g., NMR, UV-Vis, Cyclic Voltammetry, HPLC, MS)
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Multi-facetted and interesting range of tasks with further education opportunities
- Progressive employment and social security provisions in accordance with cantonal guidelines
