WHAT YOU DO
- Manage Linux server environments including configuration, patching, hardening and performance tuning
- Configure and maintain network devices such as switches, routers and firewalls
- Implement monitoring tools, logging frameworks and alerting mechanisms, and respond to incidents to ensure uptime and reliability
- Leverage scripting and automation tools to streamline deployments, configuration management and updates
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code with tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Design, implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient application delivery
- Develop and maintain shared services such as PKI, storage and authentication
- Collaborate with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams to integrate systems and ensure scalability and security
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of platform architecture, processes and configurations
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Solid experience with Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu)
- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go)
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and CI/CD concepts, ideally with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack or Loki
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills combined with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Sensibility for DevOps and enthusiasm for hands-on work
- Excellent English language skills are required; proficiency in German is a plus
