One of the world’s leading companies in the industrial sector is currently looking for a Director of Pricing, Business Intelligence & AI (m/f/d) to join their EMEA headquarters in Bochum. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building and driving a forward-looking, data- and AI-powered commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

• Lead and develop a cross-functional team across Commercial Pricing, BI, Market Intelligence, CRM and Customer Experience

• Design and execute a value-based pricing strategy to drive growth and profitability across countries and segments

• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, turning advanced analytics into actionable decisions

AI & Data-Driven Excellence

• Integrate Artificial Intelligence to enhance pricing, forecasting, market segmentation and customer insights

• Build predictive models to monitor material cost volatility, demand shifts and regional trends

• Implement scalable BI infrastructure and intuitive dashboards to enable self-service analytics globally

• Leverage AI for churn prediction, lead scoring, customer sentiment analysis and market simulations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Service, IT, and other global functions to embed pricing intelligence into daily operations

• Support CRM and CX processes with AI-enabled data cleansing, enrichment and strategic targeting

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field

• 5+ years of experience in pricing, BI or commercial analytics, including 2+ years in a leadership role

• Proven knowledge in AI-powered tools and analytics (e.g., Microsoft Co-Pilot, Python, Power BI)

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, SQL, Excel

• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent in English (additional language is a plus)
