Aufgaben:
- We are looking for a data engineer (m/f/d) to join our telemetry team. You will work in a small, focused team collaborating closely with other teams within Advantest and its partners to create a solution that allows us to collect, transfer, process, and analyze telemetry data of our systems in use. The job is located in the Böblingen office. Occasional remote work is possible.
- Identifying requirements and constraints for a telemetry solution
- Defining the data formats and models and the processing procedures
- Selecting appropriate tools and technologies
- Designing and implementing the respective software incrementally and iteratively as a member of an agile team
- Validating the solution in-house and with our partners and customers
- Consulting teams about the utilization of the telemetry solution
Qualifikationen:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Solid understanding of software engineering practices, including CI/CD, version control (Git), and automated testing
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially services related to data pipelines and data storage and frameworks for batch data processing
- Proficiency in a programming language commonly used for data engineering tasks and backend development
- Understanding of security and compliance in data handling, including encryption, access control, and data anonymization
- Good knowledge of the Linux operating system
- Being a team player with the desire to work in an international team
- Very good communication skills in English
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of digital electronics, ideally also of semiconductor testing
- Experience with agile software development in large organizations
