Join our Global Functions Controlling team and gain practical experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a multinational environment. As a GFC Intern, you’ll support key processes like budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, while learning how global finance operations work and collaborating with teams across regions.

Eligibility Criteria:

This internship is part of a local programme in collaboration with universities in Germany. To be eligible, candidates must:

• Be based in Bonn or within a commutable distance.
• Be actively enrolled at a German university for the entire duration of the internship.

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide documentation confirming your eligibility. This includes a valid ID, student visa (if applicable), and an official enrolment certificate.

Your key accountabilities include:

• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Validate and reconcile financial data for accuracy.
• Assist with monthly closing and reporting (cost centre reports, variance analysis).
• Prepare management presentations and dashboards.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles for global functions.
• Collaborate with global and regional finance teams to collect and analyze data.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support as needed.

What are we looking for from you?

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and understanding of basic financial concepts.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a global team.
• Interest in financial controlling and international business.
