Are you looking to gain an enormous amount of marketing experience, work for a Fortune 500 company? Well, you are looking in the right place! DHL is seeking a qualified intern to join our DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI) innovation marketing team, based at the DHL Innovation Center in Troisdorf, Germany. In this role you will support a variety of marketing initiatives focused on regional and global business priorities. The marketing team seeks an intern who can participate in the various stages of campaign deployment, think strategically, write sharp copy and possessing strong project management skills.

As a self-starter, you should enjoy working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. We promise interns that finish an internship with DHL CSI will have gained broad experience in a variety of marketing techniques.

What’s your role:

• Create Engaging Marketing Assets: Assist in the development of physical and digital materials, including signage, brochures, emails, online banners, and advertisements.
• Enhance Social Media Presence: Support and develop social media campaigns, monitor trending topics, and leverage insights to create relevant content.
• Manage Web Presence: Support the creation and maintenance of internal and external web pages to ensure accurate and compelling content.
• Assist with Email Marketing: Support the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns to reach target audiences effectively.
• Analyze Marketing Performance: Perform analysis of marketing and engagement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Research Competitor Activities: Seek and analyze competitor marketing strategies to inform and enhance our own initiatives.
• Support Sales Efforts: Assist in preparing impactful sales presentations and materials that drive customer engagement.
• Track Public Relations Activities: Maintain tracking reports for PR initiatives and ensure timely updates.
• Maintain CRM Systems: Manage and update information in internal contact management systems to ensure data accuracy.

What we’re looking for:

• Academic Background: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in Marketing, Sales, or Advertising.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong command of professional language.
• Digital & Social Media Expertise: Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with the ability to leverage them effectively.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to take direction, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
• Project Management: Good organizational and project management skills to ensure timely and successful execution.
• Proactive & Driven: Highly motivated, hard-working, and eager to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Learning Mindset: Motivation and willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the role.
