Our program is called "Certified International Forwarder CIF”. It is part of the DHL Group Corporate approach and represents an essential part of culture building, employee engagement, motivation, and skill-building. The program is unique in the entire forwarding/logistics industry. CIF covers all employees in the business unit DHL Global Forwarding, ie. approx 30.000 colleagues globally. The focus for 2025 will be streamlining of our existing curriculum, development and roll-out of bite-sized learnings while ensuring that existing modules, especially the strategic priorities are deployed.

Your role

• Project Management for a large-scale international Learning & Development project including a strong change management component
• Stakeholder Management in a cross-functional context
• Exhaustive communication across various channels
• Understand which elements a complex state-of-the-art development training program is built of
• Support in the development of sophisticated training materials
• Understanding the training and development needs of a heterogeneous target group and finding solutions to meet the requirements
• Working in an international team and dealing with other cultures on a daily basis
• Manage own time and resources in an efficient way to be able to cope with a variety of workstreams and work packages and meet

Your tasks

• Support the project manager in various project management tasks, such as managing of issues, risk, or scope; this includes to maintain the respective documentation
• Create various statistics and analysis on program participation and attainment tracking
• Support the preparation of a pilot approach as well as the global roll-out
• Support the design and development of new training modules
• Continuous tracking of the program costs and participation
• Communicate the program progress and success to a wide range of different stakeholders within the DHL Group (sponsors, regional/country mgmt. teams, project team, …)
• Support the promotion and marketing of the program
• Manage workstreams/ work packages with support of the Project Manager

Your profile

IMPORTANT: You MUST be a Bachelor or Master student or GAP year student (up to 1 year after Bachelor completion). You MUST have a valid work permit to do an internship in Germany.

• Above-average commitment, ability to work under pressure and flexibility
• High communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, in the particularly high degree of self-motivation, drive, and perseverance/can-do attitude as well as team working skills
• Work solution and goal-oriented
• Advanced internet and PC user skills; for Microsoft: advanced for PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent English communication skills
• BA or MA in Human resources, communications, psychology, sociology, logistic, international forwarding, or similar
